SMS Terms & Consent

EventVidia is an event-planning platform used by individual consumers to plan their own events. EventVidia is the sender of all messages in this program — every message comes from EventVidia, is sent from EventVidia's number, and identifies EventVidia. EventVidia sends account notification and customer care messages related to a specific event: invitations, RSVP confirmations, schedule and venue reminders, digital entry passes (QR codes) for check-in, and replies to questions a recipient sends us.

Messages are event-specific and transactional. EventVidia does not send marketing or promotional texts, and does not sell phone numbers.

Consent to receive SMS from EventVidia is obtained in one of two ways:

1. Direct opt-in on our website.

• You can opt in directly using the sign-up form at the top of this page: you enter your mobile number and affirmatively check the consent box (unchecked by default, never pre-selected) before submitting.
• The consent statement reads: “I agree to receive text messages from EVENTVIDIA at the number provided, including account notifications (event invitations, RSVP confirmations, reminders, and entry passes) and customer care replies. Msg frequency varies. Msg & Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
• The SMS Policy, Terms, and Privacy Policy links are shown next to the form — not inside the consent statement itself.
• We only send SMS to a number if this box has been affirmatively checked.

2. At the point of RSVP or event registration.

• A guest provides their mobile number when they RSVP to or register for a specific event on eventvidia.com, or when an event organizer adds them to a guest list with their consent.
• Before any SMS is sent, that recipient must have agreed to receive EventVidia text messages for the event. EventVidia — not the organizer — is the sender of every message.

In all cases, EventVidia is the sender: every message comes from EventVidia's number, identifies EventVidia, and includes opt-out instructions (reply STOP). Messages are sent only for the specific event the recipient is connected to. EventVidia does not send marketing or promotional texts, and does not message anyone who has not opted in as described above.

Every message leads with and identifies EventVidia as the sender:

• “EventVidia: You're invited to Alex & Jordan's Wedding on Aug 15. RSVP: eventvidia.com/rsvp/… Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
• “EventVidia: Reminder — Company Offsite is tomorrow at 9:00 AM. Your entry pass: eventvidia.com/pass/… Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
• “EventVidia: Your tickets for Jazz Night are ready: eventvidia.com/t/… Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Message frequency varies by event — typically a small number of messages per event (for example, an invitation, one or two reminders, and an entry pass).

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation and no further SMS messages, unless you opt back in.

No mobile information (including mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in / consent data) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. We share your mobile number only with our SMS delivery provider, solely to deliver the event messages described above.
